Yusuke Yamamoto (山本 裕典, Yamamoto Yūsuke) is a Japanese actor who portrayed Tsurugi Kamishiro/Kamen Rider Sasword in Kamen Rider Kabuto. He is also a DJ who goes by the name DJ Y2 (ディージェイ ワイツー, Dījei Waitsū). From his debut to 2017, he was affiliated with Ever Green Entertainment. Since, he has been affiliated with Y2.
Biography[]
In elementary school, Yamamoto was a fan of idols from Johnny and Associates. In high school, Yamamoto planned on graduating and getting a normal job, but was encouraged by his mother to enter the Junon Superboy Contest. He then moved to Tokyo to attend auditions, where would ultimately land his debut role as Tsurugi Kamishiro in Kamen Rider Kabuto. Since then, Yamamoto has continued to act, having starred as Tamaki Suoh in the live-action adaptation of Ouran High School Host Club.
Personal Life[]
- On July 10, 2020, Yamamoto tested positive for COVID-19[1], and recovered a week later.[2]
- Yamamoto is close with Kabuto co-star Hiro Mizushima, and Kiva-star Koji Seto.
